In Charlotte, North Carolina, Hartman was born on July 29, 1999. It was determined that his true passion for the sport began in a2010 when he was 11 years old. Hartman didn’t even lose any qualification for the 2021 campaign as a result of the COVID-19 epidemic.

Hartman coached his squad to an 8–0 start in 2021, the finest start in school history. Hartman was named All-American after a match against Army wherein he threw for 458 yards and five touchdowns, a personal high.
